Noteefy Confirm is your built-in safety net to reduce no-shows, fill canceled tee times, and protect your revenue. With a few clicks, you can enable automated messages that prompt golfers to confirm, cancel, or modify their tee times—before they ever become a no-show.
🧠 How Confirm Works
Noteefy sends out a sequence of smart, customizable messages ahead of each tee time:
- 🕓 Initial Confirmation (e.g., 2 days before): Prompts the golfer to confirm, modify or cancel.
- 🔁 Follow-Up Reminder (e.g., 24 hours before): Sent only if they didn’t respond to the first message.
- ⛔ Cancellation Policy Message (e.g., 4 hours before): If enabled, reminds players they’re inside your cancellation window and should contact the Pro Shop.
When a golfer responds:
- ✅ A confirmation locks in their tee time.
- ❌ A cancellation releases the spot for others.
- 🔄 A modification directs them to your Pro Shop or booking site.
⚙️ How to Set It Up
To enable Confirm, follow these quick steps:
- Log in to your Noteefy Admin Portal.
- Navigate to Confirm —> Message Configuration
- (Optional) Toggle “Enable Cancellation Policy” on if you want to prevent last-minute cancels or match your cancellation policy. And then set the window of time to match your preferences
- Customize each message block to your liking:
- Important: you do have a 200 character limit to your messages to make sure that the texts are easy to consume for golfers.
- Toggle “Enable Confirm Messages” on!
- Getting an error message here? It’s likely due to your tee sheet integration not being fully set up. Reach out to your CSM here for help as this can vary by tee sheet
💡 Best Practices
- ✍️ Keep it human – Use friendly, clear language that matches how your course talks to golfers.
- 📞 Stay updated – Double-check that your phone number and website are current.NOTE: when messaging a golfer for the first time via SMS, we will send the following message to validate it is the correct person: "[First Name], are you the golfer who booked a tee time at [Course Name] on [Date]? Reply YES to continue or NO if this message was sent to you by mistake."
- Only after they confirm "YES" will they receive the standard confirmation options
- If someone replies "NO," a note will be automatically placed on your tee sheet (if your tee sheet supports notes) and stop sending them messages
- If the golfer does not respond at all, they will continue to receive email reminders about the tee time, and then the next time they get a tee time they will be re-sent the verification message.
- 📊 Track & optimize – Use the Noteefy dashboard to monitor confirmation rates and fine-tune your messaging as needed.
