Welcome to Noteefy! This guide will walk you through the simple steps to add your AI Assistant to your course website and booking portal if you use TeeSnap. By setting this up, you’ll make it easy for golfers to join your waitlist when their preferred tee time isn’t available.
🖥️ Step 1: Add the Noteefy Widget to Your Home Page
Adding the Noteefy widget to your website opens the door for your golfers to begin interacting with your AI Assistant (or if you are using the classic waitlist experience ensures golfers can easily find and sign up for the waitlist).
How to Add the Widget:
- Copy the widget script provided by your Noteefy Customer Success Manager.
- Add the script to your website’s header section.
- (If you use Wordpress or another CMS, paste the code in your site’s Header area and click Publish to save your changes.)
✅ Tip: Specifically for the waitlist, it’s also helpful to add other links (and pop-ups especially when first launching) to your site so people can easily navigate to the waitlist and pro shop staff have an easy wait to direct callers to it.
🔗 Step 2: Add a Waitlist Message to Your TeeSnap Booking Portal
Make it easy for golfers to find your waitlist option when no tee times are available by adding a visible message on your booking portal.
TeeSnap offers two options for adding this message:
Option 1: Use an Info Block
- Log in to your TeeSnap Web-Admin Portal.
- Navigate to Properties → Info Block.
- Click Add and enter the following message: “Don’t see the time you are searching for? Join our Virtual Tee Time Waitlist and be alerted when your tee time becomes available: [insert full Waitlist URL]”
- Save your changes.
Option 2: Use the Property Description
- Log in to your TeeSnap Web-Admin Portal.
- Go to Properties, then select your Course.
- In the Property Description, click Add and enter the same waitlist message: “Don’t see the time you are searching for? Join our Virtual Tee Time Waitlist and be alerted when your tee time becomes available: [insert full Waitlist URL]”
- Save your changes.
⚠️ Note: TeeSnap’s Info Blocks and Property Description sections do not currently support clickable hyperlinks. Be sure to paste your full Noteefy Waitlist URL so golfers can copy and paste it into their browser.
📈 Best Practices
✔️ Test Everything: View your website and booking portal as if you were a golfer. Confirm the widget and Info Block/Property Description display properly on desktop and mobile.
✔️ Train Your Team: Make sure your golf shop staff knows how to direct guests to the waitlist if their preferred time is unavailable.
✔️ Promote It: Include your waitlist link in your course emails, newsletters, and social channels to boost sign-ups.
