Welcome to Noteefy! This guide will help you set up your AI Assistant if you use TeeOn for online bookings. By following these steps, you’ll make it easy for golfers to sign up for your waitlist when their preferred tee time isn’t available.
🖥️ Step 1: Add the Noteefy Widget to Your Home Page
Adding the Noteefy widget to your website opens the door for your golfers to begin interacting with your AI Assistant (or if you are using the classic waitlist experience ensures golfers can easily find and sign up for the waitlist).
How to Add the Widget:
- Copy the widget script provided by your Noteefy Customer Success Manager.
- Add the script to your website’s header section.
- (If you use Wordpress or another CMS, paste the code into the Header area and click Publish to save your changes.)
✅ Tip: Specifically for the waitlist, it’s also helpful to add other links (and pop-ups especially when first launching) to your site so people can easily navigate to the waitlist and pro shop staff have an easy wait to direct callers to it.
🔗 Step 2: Add a Waitlist Message to Your TeeOn Booking Portal
Make it easy for golfers to find your waitlist option right in the booking flow.
How to Add It:
- Log into your TeeOn Admin Portal.
- Go to Administration → Web Booking: General.
- Activate Show Notice.
- In the notice section, add this suggested message: “Don’t see the time you are searching for? Join our Virtual Tee Time Waitlist: [paste your full Noteefy Waitlist URL]”
- Save your changes.
Note: TeeOn does not current allow for hyperlinks within this option. Guests will have to open the URL manually.
📈 Best Practices
✔️ Test Everything: View your website and booking portal as if you were a golfer — confirm that the widget, CTA button, and waitlist link work properly on both desktop and mobile.
✔️ Train Your Team: Make sure your golf shop staff knows how to direct guests to the waitlist if their preferred time isn’t available.
✔️ Promote It: Add your waitlist link to your emails and social channels to encourage more golfers to sign up.
