Waitlist alerts — common questions

Why a tee time may be gone after an alert, and how Noteefy’s waitlist notifications work.

Noteefy’s waitlist sends free alerts when tee times matching your search preferences open. Here are the questions we hear most often.

⏱️ I got a waitlist notification but the tee time was not there

Claiming tee times is first come, first served. Noteefy uses a progressive notification system to alert golfers based on how many people are searching. For popular courses and times, someone else may still get the time first. In other cases, the golf course may be moving times around so openings disappear quickly.

Follow the link in your alert quickly — depending on the course it may open the course’s tee sheet or Noteefy’s booking site.

📅 Can I book a tee time through Noteefy?

Only at select courses that use Noteefy’s online booking site. At other courses, Noteefy is typically a waitlist: we alert you when times open, and you complete the booking on the course’s own tee sheet (or with the pro shop).

🛠️ I’m having a problem with a waitlist search or alert

If the time was already taken, see above. For search not saving, wrong alerts, login issues, or other Noteefy waitlist problems, email [email protected] with as much detail as you can (course, search preferences, screenshots).
