Website Widget Customization Options

The Noteefy widget that lives on your golf course website comes with a number of customization options — so it can look and feel like a natural part of your site. Some of these you can update yourself directly in the Admin Portal, and some require your Noteefy CSM to make the change for you.

This article breaks down exactly what's available and who can change it.

🧑‍💻 What You Can Change Yourself

The following settings can be updated by any Admin at any time on the AI Assistant settings page.

Option

What it Does

Opening Message

The greeting golfers see when they first open the widget. Customize this to match your course's voice — for example, "How can we help you today? Join a waitlist or check tee time availability below."

Quick Action Buttons

Shortcut buttons displayed inside the open widget that send golfers to common actions — like "Join Waitlist" or "Check Availability." You can set the label and underlying prompt for each button.

🧰 What Your CSM Can Change

The settings below require a Noteefy Customer Success Manager to update on your behalf. To request a change, reach out to your CSM directly via email or Slack — these updates are typically turned around within 1 business day.

Option

What it Does

Widget Icon/Image

The image shown on the widget launcher button (the button your golfers click to open the widget). A square image recommended (1:1 aspect ratio) at a minimum of 100 × 100 px. This will be displayed as a circular icon in the widget header.

Background Color

The background color of the widget and/or launcher button. Matching this to your brand colors helps the widget blend in with your website. Share a hex code (e.g. #1A3C5E) when requesting.

Text Color

The color of text shown inside the widget. Your CSM will make sure it has enough contrast against your background color for readability. Share a hex code when requesting.

Border Color

The color of the widget's outer border. Can be matched or complemented to your course's brand palette. Share a hex code when requesting.

Corner Roundness

Controls how rounded the widget corners appear — from sharp and square to fully rounded.

Widget Width

The width of the widget panel when closed on your website.

Page Placement

Where the widget launcher sits on your website — most commonly bottom-right or bottom-left. Most commonly used if it's conflicting with another element on your site.

💬 Tips & Notes

  • For color changes, always share hex codes — this ensures an exact match to your brand.

  • For icon/image changes, attach the image file directly in your message to your CSM.
